Ingredients:

    3 cups whole milk
    1 tablespoon curd (used as culture to set the curds)

Process:

    Bring the milk to a boil in a heavy bottomed pan over medium heat.
    Once the milk comes to a boil, reduce the heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes.
    Remove the milk from the heat and let it cool down to lukewarm. The milk should be about 110°F to 115°F.
    In a separate bowl, whisk the curd until smooth.
    Add the curd to the warm milk and mix well.
    Pour the mixture into a clean glass jar or container.
    Cover the jar or container with a lid and let it sit in a warm place for 4-6 hours.
    After 4-6 hours, the curd should be set. Refrigerate the curd until ready to use.
